Best Shrimp Masala

Quick & easy Shrimp Masala, is a delicious recipe made in less than 15 minutes. I always get this question: Are shrimps unhealthy with high cholesterol? Check out my video recipe on youtube to find out!


1 lb of wild-caught shrimp

½ chopped onion

2 medium-sized chopped tomatoes

½ cilantro chopped


1 tsp of cumin seeds

1 tsp of ground cumin seeds

½ tsp ground cayenne pepper (add as needed for more spice)

1 tsp curry masala

2 tsp of fine, shredded coconut (optional)

Salt to taste

Oil spray if needed (You can make this recipe with/out any oil)


Step 1: Place a pan on the stove on medium heat

Step 2: Spray avocado oil in the pan, if needed (You can make this recipe without any oil as well)

Step 3: Add chopped onions and cumin seeds, and cook for a minute

Step 4: Add chopped tomatoes and let cook for a couple of minutes

Step 5: Add cilantro and add the shrimp, mix well, cover the pan and cook for about 5 minutes

Step 5: Add all the spices and salt. Mix well and cook for couple more minutes

Step 6: Garnish with cilantro and enjoy!
