Ingredients
- 2 lbs wild caught Salmon or any fish without bones
- 2 cups brown rice, prepare brown as you would normally do
- 4 tablespoons of green masala(minced ginger, garlic n green chilies
- 2 – 4 tomatoes in purée or organic tomato sauce
- 2 large tablespoons of nonfat yogurt
- 2 onions fried in olive oil(brown color)
- 2 tablespoons cumin seeds
- 4-5 green curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 teaspoon ground cumin seeds
- 2 teaspoon ground cumin seeds
- Juice extracted from 2 lemons
- Salt to taste
Steps
- Wash and cut the fish into medium pieces. In a separate bowl, Add salt, green masala, and all the ground dry
masala n lemon juice. - Add fish and marinate for about couple of hours, or overnight. Preheat the oven to 350*F.
- In deep, wide mouth pan, put some avocado oil, add the brown onions, yogurt, tomato purée or sauce, salt to
taste. Cook well until oil come up, slowly add the fish and let it cook until the fish masala is all cooked n u see oil coming up… - Oil the tray or dish u want to use to mix n cook the biryani. Spread the cooked rice evenly. Sprinkle a little
oil onto the rice and slowly put the fish masala on the top of the rice. - Spread the fish on top. Cover with aluminum foil n put the tray in the oven for 30 mins
- Turn off the oven and let the tray sit in the oven for 10-15 mins… Take it out n enjoy
