Sprouted mung beans are a living whole food. Once sprouted, these beans are alive, fresh, and natural.   • Step 1: Take 1 cup of beans and wash them with water.
  • Step 2: Put them in a large container to give them room to grow. Add enough water to cover the grains. Cover with a paper towel or thin cloth. Let it sit for 24 hours. You will see small roots coming out from the beans.
  • Step 3: Wash the beans and add just enough water to cover all the grains. Cover it with a cloth or paper towel and let it sit for another 24 hours. After 48 hours, you will see the sprouted grain. Wash and use in any salads or sandwiches. You can store extra in the freezer for later use.
